London. She started singing when she was four years old. Her
debut album received a lot of recognition, both commercially
and critically. The album reached number one. She released
her second album 21 in early 2011. It was a huge success. 21
has spent 11 consecutive weeks at number one in the UK, the
longest ever by a female solo artist on the UK Albums Chart,
beating Madonna's nine weeks at number one in 1990. The

Adele means alot to many different people but to me she was a means of hanging on after each spine surgery. (I've had 3) Her voice is soothing and has a calming affect which in turn helped me heal. I listen to her every day since I spend most of my days in bed due to a very bad back. So you see Adele means a great deal to everyone, but most importantly to me. Brenda Tigar USA
