Remember visiting as a child in the early seventies on a school trip and a wonderful 'tour guide' at the castle who captured my imagination with his stories. I remember peering into an old drum with some inscription inside and being shown a secret passage particularly. I remember going on and on about the visit so much my wonderful parents took us for a family camping holiday the following summer. Seahouses just down the road is also GREAT. As a fifty year old living in australia I still rave about the place. Happy childhood memories.
