I’m Caspar Courage, I'm one of the four roving reporters that embarked on a whistle stop tour of the UK (13th to the 24th of August) to ask the Nation to nominate the people, places and products that make up the ‘Greats’ of Great Britain.

While visiting the country, we were competing against each other to become the most popular member of the team by harnessing votes through The Great Exhibition website.

Although I wasn’t the luck one to cast the most votes, this journey was an Amazing opportunity to visit the country and meet the people that make it so great, especially in the company of my best friends.

During 14 days and across over 20 locations, we gave away thousands of wristbands to be exchanged for tickets for Live event in 2012 by uploading Greats to The Great Exhibition website. I'm 18 years old and single – Not a typical cancerian as I a pretty calm and logical which should be useful on the Adventure and help me to win. So a bit about me I love British comedy – Monty Python is my favourite, if I could spend an hour doing anything it would be as a panellist on a comedy show.

My perfect meal would be roast beef washed down with Courage Best and Helen Bonham Carter and Timothy Spall for company. Eventually I’d like to be the Creative Director in an ad agency but that seems a long way off as I am still waiting for A Level results. I’m lucky enough to have travelled quite a lot although I’m not exactly Ranulph Fiennes who is my idea of a real British Hero.

My favourite place to date was Jura but my eyes were very opened on this trip – I saw some great things and met some equally amazing people. Britain is Great!
