We hand build high quality designer windbreaks made from a combination of new and recycled sailcloth.

Dart Designs was the original company to innovate, design and produce the sailcloth windbreak.

These high quality award -winning windbreaks are individually created from real yacht and windsurfing sails, incorporating original nautical features, so that no two are exactly the same.

Unique design, with an funky abstract theme reflecting sail shapes. Meticulous attention to detail, lightweight and virtually indestructible, for the same reasons that sails do not rip apart in squalls.

Made in the same way that yacht sails are made, using durable marine grade materials. The top and bottom edges are reinforced with sail tape, with marine stitching, providing a quality attractive finish. The poles are high quality sealed wooden poles with galvanised steel tips and caps for durability and ease of insertion into the ground. These move inside the windbreak allowing you to adjust the height, but sailcloth is a stiff light material, so once the windbreak is erected it will not sag or slide down the pole.

Comes with a stylish marine inspired sailcloth and polyester weather resistant carry bag, with adjustable shoulder strap, reinforced bottom and marine halyard pull-cord top.

Unique eye-catching design means that you can look across a beach and find your place easily. Some designs have clear monofilm sections within it, allowing you to keep an eye on your children, see the view and allow the warmth of the sun to come in, whilst keeping the wind out! For 2012 there is a special limited edition design called 'Weymouth' in celebration of the Olympic sailing event to be held at Weymouth.
