Hi, I’m Michael Booth and I'm one of the four roving reporters that embarked on a whistle stop tour of the UK (13th to the 24th of August) to ask the Nation to nominate the people, places and products that make up the ‘Greats’ of Great Britain.

While visiting the country, we competed against each other to become the most popular member of the team by harnessing votes through The Great Exhibition website. Which I won!

During 14 days and across over 20 locations, we gave away thousands of wristbands to be exchanged for tickets for Live event in 2012 by uploading Greats to The Great Exhibition website. Hope you got one! If not check our website for news on how to get one as it will be an amazing event, with many amazing things to do.

More about me: I'm the most vibrant and lively member of the team which is probably why I have the most friends on Facebook (over 1,000) although my status is single. My family is Welsh and so it’s not surprising that I have a passion for rugby and my British Super Hero is Shane Williams.
I’m a bit of a sensation seeker and love extreme sports – always wanted to appear on The Leader Board on Top Gear. I’m good at getting out of scrapes and can take control if needed, plenty of experience after nights out in Cardiff. Vote for me because I am just better value than the others and don’t listen to any of their stories about my bad habits.
