Description
Our aims are to advance the education of the public in the
history and development of writing, implements, and
accessories, with particular reference to the Birmingham
trades. We also wish to ensure the continued public interest
in this field, secure, preserve and protect the artefacts
and records at the Pen Room, record the history and ensure
public access and participation. We are recognised as an
independent museum of national significance and unique in
UK. Around 10,000 visitors a year are able to choose
