Description
The original Scottish name being tweel, however through a
misunderstanding it became known as tweed in the early 19th
century. Tweed is woven in a twilled pattern, which
distinguishes it from more plain patterned cloth. It's
extremely durable and often worn for outdoor country sports.
It's also as British as Sherlock Holmes. Harris being
probably the most famous tweed.
