At The Victoria they source the freshest local produce, the menu relying heavily on the best ingredients the surrounding area has to offer and what is seasonally available, whether it be crabs from Cromer, mussels from Brancaster or venison, beef and game from the Holkham Estate.

Head Chef Saurav Kumar describes his menu as simple, classic British/French cuisine and remarks, “There’s no need to source major ingredients from more than about 5 miles away. We have fish brought to our door. The restaurant menu has been conceived to create a range of homely, satisfying dishes with a coastal emphasis. I aim for simplicity so that we can offer great quality and consistency – I want each dish to be perfect every day and easily understandable and I want to ‘wow’ customers when the dishes are brought out from the kitchen. There’s so much great produce from Holkham Estate, as well as from local suppliers – we’re very lucky here at The Victoria.”

The stylish, light and airy restaurant has views overlooking the adjacent marshes of the Holkham National Nature Reserve. The hotel also has a separate, private dining room, which is available for parties of up to 12 people.

Lunch is served from 12noon every day with last orders at 2.30pm on weekdays and 3pm at weekends.

Dinner is served from 6.30pm every evening with last orders at 9pm.
