Description
A community project where every year 1000's of volunteers
get together to create a giant wicker statue to raise money
for Maggies Cancer Caring Centres. Headed up by Dan Barton,
this year's statue was created from an original design by
Oxfordshire Schoolboy Thomas Lydford-Brace after a
competition run in schools all over the county. The Wicker
Man has toured the county creating awareness, raising money
and involving people. Definitely an example of what's Great
about Great Britain.
